how it works
Here's what you need to know about how our dental cleaning process works
Step one
Dental assessment
We’ll start by booking your furry friend in for an initial dental assessment with our vet to make sure their teeth are ready for cleaning and there are no other underlying issues so that we can go ahead with the scale and polish.
Step two
Scale & Polish
Under light anaesthesia, we'll give their teeth a thorough cleaning and will have them flashing those new pearly whites in no time! Everything your pets need is included: x-rays, general anaesthetic, blood-work, intravenous fluids, and of course a tooth brush to take home.
What if my pet needs an Extraction?
If at your scale and polish, your x-rays indicate a need for extractions, your vet will contact you to discuss if you'd like to schedule a second stage, which can be booked at a later date.
Extractions will either be Category 1 or Category 2, and will be at a flat rate of £399 or £599. This flat rate will include absolutely everything (even your post-op checks).
What else is included when you pay annually?
A Snoots membership is already pretty extensive, but when you pay annually – you get even more. Expect all the usual good stuff, plus:
- One free scale and polish each year
- Monthly events (in-person and digital)
- Discounted medication pricing, exclusive to annual members
- For frequent travellers, Digital Animal Health Certificates after the first issuance, and worming tablets for re-entry included
